The ongoing month of February saw many releases of movies and web series on OTT platforms. However, theatres are now operational in many states of India after Covid-19 third wave.

The coming month of March is all set to bring some power-packed movies and web-series on OTT platforms. Let’s take a look at upcoming releases in March 2022:

1. Rudra: The Edge of Darkness


Ajay Devgn is all set to make his OTT debut. He will be seen in Rudra: The Edge of Darkness as a cop. The movie is an Indian upcoming psychological crime thriller that will release on March 4, 2022 on Disney+ Hotstar.

2. Pieces of Her


Pieces of Her is an upcoming American thriller drama streaming television series created by Charlotte Stoudt, based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Karin Slaughter. The series is based on a woman pieces together her mother's dark past after a violent attack in their small town brings hidden threats and deadly secrets to light. The show will premiere on Netflix on March 4, 2022.

3. The Andy Warhol Diaries


Andy Warhol was an American artist, film director, and producer who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art.  He lived openly as a gay man before the gay liberation movement. In June 1968, he was almost killed by radical feminist who shot him inside his studio. The show is based on his life and is all set to release on March 9, 2022 on Netflix.

4. Turning Red


Turning Red is a 2022 American computer-animated coming-of-age fantasy comedy film produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios to be distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on Disney+. It is directed by Domee Shi in her feature directorial debut, from a screenplay written by herself and Julia Cho. The movie premiered in London, England on February 21, 2022, and is scheduled to be released on Disney+ in countries where the service is available, on March 11, 2022.

5. WeCrashed


WeCrashed is an upcoming drama streaming television miniseries based on the podcast “WeCrashed: The Rise and Fall of WeWork” by Wondery. The series stars Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway. It is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on March 18, 2022. A portion of the series is set to show at SXSW on March 12, 2022.

 
6. Eternally Confused and Eager for Love


The show is a comedy drama about an awkward 24-year old named Ray, navigating through life with the help of his ‘inner voice’.  It has been produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Tiger Baby Films and Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. The show will release on March 18, 2022 on Netflix.

7. Bridgerton: Season 2


Bridgerton is one of the most popular and best Netflix shows of all time.  The second one is inspired by and adapted from The Viscount Who Loved Me. The eight-episode first season was met with positive reviews. Season 2 will premiere on March 25, 2022.
