Bordering states of India- Punjab, Rajasthan, and Jammu & Kashmir have been witnessing failed missile and drone attacks from Pakistan since Thursday night. Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan and the possibility of a full-fledged war looming, a suspected missile struck a residential area in Jalandhar, injuring a migrant laborer who was asleep in his courtyard. The incident occurred around 2:40 a.m. in the Kangniwal locality and has been linked to the ongoing series of drone and missile attacks from across the border.
According to eyewitnesses and local reports, the worker suffered serious injuries to his torso and arm. He was rushed to the hospital 30 minutes after the blast occurred. Photos from the scene show him with visible burn injuries and bleeding wounds. The explosion also damaged a parked car, with one of its front tires blown out and the body visibly dented. Debris believed to be from the missile was recovered from the site, including sharp fragments found in the victim's hand. The local police arrived soon after and have launched a formal investigation into the matter.

For the fourth day in a row, Pakistan launched attacks on Punjab early this morning, intensifying cross-border tensions.
