In a shocking turn of events, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced a reward of $2,50,000 for information about a Fugitive from their 10 most-wanted fugitives list. Not only this, the suspect in question is of Indian origin. FBI suspect, Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel has been on the run since 2015, and has a warrant issued against him in the US state of Maryland. 

 

The FBI advised to exercise caution in case of contact with the suspect, as he is considered to be armed and dangerous.

 

Patel is wanted for allegedly killing his wife by striking her multiple times with an object while they were both working at a donut shop in Hanover, Maryland, on April 12, 2015.  A local arrest warrant was issued in the District Court of Maryland for Anne Arundel County on April 13, 2015, and Patel was charged with first degree murder, second degree murder, first degree assault, second degree assault, and dangerous weapon with intent to injure. A federal arrest warrant was issued in the United States District Court, District of Maryland, Baltimore, Maryland, on April 20, 2015, after Patel was charged with unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

 

Who is Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel?

 

Patel was born in Kantrodi Ta Viramgam, Gujarat, India. He was reportedly working as an employee in a donut shop at the time of the incident. He was 26-years-old and stands at 5 feet 9 inches tall. He weighs around 165 pounds and has brown eyes and hair. His last known whereabouts are reported to be in Newark, New Jersey Area.

 

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $250,000 for information leading to the arrest of Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel.
