Bhavesh Bhai Bhandari lives in Himmatnagar, Sabarkantha district of Gujarat state along with his wife. As per reports, Bhavesh Bhai Bhandari comes from a prosperous family in Sabarkantha. He had a privileged upbringing. He worked in the construction industry, managing projects in both Sabarkantha and Ahmedabad. The Bhandari family has strong ties with the Jain community and often interacts with monks and devotees.
Interestingly, Bhavesh Bhai Bhandari's children - a 16-year-old son and a 19-year-old daughter, chose to become monks in 2022, which inspired Bhavesh Bhai and his wife to do the same.
Notably, the Gujarati business tycoon, Bhavesh Bhandari announced to live as Jain monks in a big procession in Himmatnagar along with 35 others. According to reports, Bhavesh Bhandari and his wife will officially embrace a life of renunciation at the Himmatnagar Riverfront on April 22, 2024. Interestingly, the procession, spanning approximately 4 kilometers, witnessed Bhavesh Bhai donating his entire wealth of 200 crores.
