Actress Dolly Sohi (48), (‘Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev', 'Hitler Didi') passed away this morning (March 8) after a long battle with Cervical Cancer. Dolly was born in Amritsar and belonged to a Sikh family, she was battling cervical cancer who succumbed to the disease early morning today. Dolly's family while talking to the media said, "Our beloved Dolly has left for her heavenly abode early this morning, we are in a state of shock over this loss! The last rites will be performed this afternoon itself."

 

It is being told that Dolly's sister Amandeep Sohi also died last night. A few hours after the death of sister Amandeep, Dolly Sohi also breathed her last. Dolly was suffering from cervical cancer while Amandeep was suffering from jaundice. In November 2023, Dolly Sohi had revealed on social media that she had been diagnosed with cervical cancer.

 

Dolly had shared a photo last year after a chemotherapy session. It read, “THANK U EVERYONE FOR SENDING YOUR LOVE AND PRAYERS… Life has been a Roller Coaster lately, But if u have the strength to fight with it then ur journey becomes easier. It’s up to u what do u choose to be A Victim Of Journey (CANCER) Or A Survivor Of Journey.”

 

Who is Dolly Sohi? 

Dolly has been a part of shows like ‘Jhanak’, ‘Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi’ and ‘Khoob Ladi Mardaani…Jhansi Ki Rani’. She is survived by her teenage daughter. Dolly was born in Amritsar and belonged to a Sikh family. She was known for playing the leads in shows like Bhabhi, Kalash.
