The Grand Theft Auro VI's trailer release has been embroiled in multiple controversies. Despite many controversies, the GTA 6 trailer has become one of the most-watched trailers. Notably, GTA 6 trailer had to be released before the scheduled time after Rockstar Games were subjected to massive security lapse. To be precise, GTA 6 trailer was leaked online way before its official makers Rockstar Games dropped its trailer. As a result, the makers have to release GTA 6 trailer well before the scheduled time. However, after Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer release, it received massive praise for its graphics and almost real-life representation of Florida in the game. For those who are unaware, Florida is known as The Vice City in the game. 

 

Notably, in the trailer of GTA VI, many real-life incidents were shown including one mugshot of a man in the jocker attire. Following that the Vice City jocker scene were shared on social media and interestingly American were quick to point out that the jocker shown in the Rockstar Games is a real person and his name is Lawrence Sullivan. Now, the question arises who is 'real-life' Florida jocker aka Lawrence Sullivan?

 

Who is Lawrence Sullivan aka the Florida Jocker?

 

The Florida Jocker's real name is Lawrence Sullivan. As per reports, Lawrence Sullivan, also known as the "Florida Joker," took to TikTok to call out GTA for including his likeness in the trailer and subsequent video game. Lawrence Sullivan has opted for the infamous jocker look due to his admiration for Hollywood actor Jared Leto. For those who are unaware, actor Jared Leto played the character of the Jocker in the movie The Suicide Squad. 

 

It is suspected that the image in the trailer may be a reference to the viral video of his 2017 mugshot and he has responded, suggesting the makers of GTA may need to dig deep into their pockets. Lawrence has demanded $2 million from the Rockstar Games for using his infamous mugshot GTA 6 trailer. 

 

For those wondering why Lawrence is infamous? The answer is Sullivan was arrested in 2017 in Miami, Florida for pointing a gun at cars that were driving by. Reportedly,  the self-described 'tattoo model told police he didn’t have a concealed weapons permit because of costs, opting instead to simply keep a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun in his pocket. After serving a pretty short sentence, he was booked again just a few days later for weed, then again in 2018, and once more in 2022.
