Who hoisted 'Nishan Sahib' at Delhi's Red fort?

Jugraj Singh belongs TaranTaran district of Punjab. He is accused of unfurling Nishan Sahib (a religious flags associated with Sikh religion) at the historic Red Fort in Delhi during the tractor parade and clash between police and farmers on Republic day.

The father and grandfather of Jugraj have expressed happiness after their son and grandson respectively hoisted 'Nishan Sahib' at Red Fort. They lauded him for "showing bravery."

As per reports in the media, the police reached Jugraj's house on January 26 at night. Jugraj has a joint family comprising of his parents, grandparents and three sisters. His two sisters are married.

Jugraj belongs to a village named Tara Singh. After completing his study of grade 10, Jugraj had been to work for a Chennai based company but he came back home and started doing menial or labor work.

Jugraj's grandmother says in their village, there are six gurudwaras and Jugraj used to do seva at the gurdwaras. According to the villagers, they got to know about hoisting of Nishan Sahib by Jugraj only after they watched it on television.
