Along with this, he was the Law Minister in the first term of the Yogi government. Today, there is a wave of joy in Lucknow as well as Unnao and Hardoi districts on his becoming the Deputy CM. 

His brother Rajesh Pathak is active in the politics of the district. There is an influx of people at home.

Nitin Agarwal, who won the entry in politics, is the MLA from Sadar for the fourth time in a row. He has been a minister of state in the state government. Nitin Agarwal, who was the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, has been elected this time on a BJP ticket. There is a wave of joy among the people on the news of him being made a minister.
