While the world is hailing India's dominance, diplomacy, and especially hospitality the country shown in the ongoing G20 Summit, an embarrassing incident of flower pot stealing has come to the fore. Recently, a video went viral on social media from Gurugram's Shankar Chowk where two individuals were filmed stealing flower pots that had been placed up for a G20 event while driving a luxurious car. The video became viral on the Internet and hours after the video became viral, Gurugram Police lodged an FIR into the theft. On Tuesday it was reported that the car with VIP number plate is purportedly owned by YouTube influencer Elvish Yadav's family. As a result, Elvish Yadav started breaking the internet and netizens on social media started trolling and criticizing the YouTuber. It was reported that the reason behind Elvish Yadav's name coming up in the matter is because only last year the social media influencer was seen rallying in a KIA Carnival with the same registration number - HR20AV0006, in Tijara, Rajasthan. These flower pots were stolen from Shankar Chowk intersection of Gurugram. However, Elvish Yadav, late Tuesday night denied the claim. Now, the question arises who is Elvish Yadav?

Elvish Yadav is a YouTuber who has 9.2 million subscribers (while writing) on his YouTube channel. He generally makes short films or series for his fans on YouTube. Interestingly, his videos are very popular among his fans. Elvish is best known for his desi and haryanvi comedy videos. Elvish has a huge fan following on social media. Apart from this, he also remains in headlines for his different statements. Sharing pictures of Elvish Yadav with Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Smriti Irani, a Twitter page named Spirit of Congress wrote, "Men in car with VIP number plate seen allegedly stealing flower pots arranged for G20 event in Gurugram. It's likely that the plants-stealing car is owned by Elvish Yadav's family. " Apart from being a YouTuber, Elvish also runs his own NGO named Elvish Yadav Foundation.

Elvish Yadav to take action against miss-information

Seeing himself being accused of theft, YouTuber Elvish Yadav has tweeted and called this allegation baseless. He wrote, ‘This is not my vehicle. I humbly request everyone not to spread any wrong information about me. I am suing those who are spreading wrong information about me. However, after the statement of Elvish, some people came in his support, while some people still allege that this car belongs to Elvish, at present, who has stolen the pots, it will be revealed only after the police investigation. Apart from this he also shared his video in the story section of his official Instagram profile.

A user wrote, "Youtuber elvish yadav car is stealing flower pots set up for G-20 event in Gurgaon?"

"A video is viral on social media in which two men came in a car with registration number (HR20AV0006) and are seen carrying away flower pots. YouTuber Elvish Yadav can be seen rallying in a KIA Carnival with the same registration number in Tijara, Rajasthan last year." wrote another user.

Another user wrote, "People desperately wanna prove 0006 belongs to Elvish Yadav without using their brain!"

Elvish Yadav vs Swara Bhasker

Interestingly, Elvish Yadav and Swara Bhasker have been at the loggerheads. In fact, Bollywood actress Swara lodged an FIR against Elvish in the past at the Basant Kunj police station in Delhi alleging that he had outraged her modesty, and had circulated some hashtags on social media regarding some movie scene involving her. According to Delhi police, a criminal case was registered under IPC Sec 354D (stalking), 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) and sec 67 of IT Act (Punishment for publishing or transmitting obscene material in electronic form) against Elvish Yadav based on the complaint by Swara Bhasker.
