Who is Quantavious Eason?

Reports quoted Senatobia Police officers who informed that they found Quantavious Eason urinating behind a vehicle on August 10. His mother, Latonya Eason, was quoted saying that she stopped by a lawyer's office and her son was in her car and needed to use the bathroom. So, he went behind his mother's car and urinated there. It was during that moment when officers saw him and placed him in the back of a cop car, ultimately taking him to the station. Latonya Eason was quoted saying, "No, him urinating in the parking lot was not right, but at the same time I handled it like a parent and for one officer to tell my baby to get back in the car it was okay and to have the other pull up and take him to jail. Like no..I'm just speechless right now. Why would you arrest a ten year old kid."

It is pertinent to mention here that after the row grabbed the American media headlines, Senatobia Police Chief Richard Chandler was quoted saying that the 10-year-old boy should have never been taken to the police station. Chandler accepted that 'it was an error in judgement for us to transport the child to the police station since the mother was present at that time as a reasonable alternative.'

Chandler informed that a Senatobia Police officer is out of a job and other officers involved will be disciplined in the 'Mississippi boy peeing arrest' case.
