Who will replace Peter Sajak?
TMZ reported that the makers of Wheel of Fortune are in talks with Ryan Seacrest. The report stated that Ryan Seacrest is an option to replace Pat and he's been talking to Sony about potentially taking over for the retiring host. For the unversed, Sony owns 'Wheel of Fortune'. For the unversed, Ryan Seacrest is an American media personality. He co-hosted and served as executive producer of Live with Kelly and Ryan, and has hosted other media shows including American Idol, American Top 40, and On Air with Ryan Seacrest.
Apart from Ryan, the other person in contention is Stephen A. Smith. Stephen A. Smith has expressed his desire to host Wheel of Fortune. Sports TV personality Stephen A. Smith was quoted saying, "My mother loved Wheel of Fortune, loved Wheel of Fortune. She really, really did," adding, "I wanna throw my name into the hat!” While he “ain’t trying to give up my day job. Smith further said, "I wouldn’t mind hosting that show while folks try to figure out what those letters mean, and what it equates into."
