The Enforcement Directorate had summoned Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez in connection with a case of prevention of money laundering involving multi-millionaire conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Jacqueline is being questioned in connection to the Sukesh Chandrasekhar money laundering case.
Many have been wondering- who is Sukesh Chandrasekhar and how is he linked to Jacqueline and Nora.
Sukesh Chandrashekhar is a conman, businessman arrested by Enforcement Directorate in money extortion case. He was in Tihar jail since 2017. It is believed, Chandrasekhar, who is in his late '30s used to con businessmen promising loans or try to settle any legal cases for a price. He was arrested by the police in 2019.
After a photograph of Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez with conman Sukesh Chandrashekar went viral on the internet, she has been making headlines. Chandrashekhar revealed during the interrogation that he had gifted a horse worth ₹52 lakh and a Persian cat worth ₹9 lakh to actor Jacqueline Fernandez. The name of actor Nora Fatehi has also been mentioned in the chargesheet as the actor was gifted an expensive car by the conman. Both the actors have already been questioned by the ED.
Earlier, Nora Fatehi had issued a statement, which stated, “Nora Fatehi has been the victim around the case and being a witness, she is co-operating and helping the officers in the investigation. We would like to make it very clear that she has not been a part of any money laundering activity, she does not know or have any personal connection with the accused and has been called by the ED to strictly help with the investigation."

As per sources, Nora Fatehi was invited to an event by Chandrashekar's wife, Leena Maria Paul and received the expensive car as a gift for attending the event.
