As per Midday, the actress, Suman Yadav, also known as Suman Kumari Tetu Gopi, has worked in various films in the Bhojpuri industry, including Laila Majnu, Jomestic Box, web series, Baap Numbari, and Beta 10 Numbari Bhojpuri film. She has also worked in a lead role in various albums in Hindi and Punjabi. The report further quoted Lakhmi Gautam, Joint Commissioner of Crime who informed that based on specific information, a raid was conducted, and the accused has been apprehended. According to the SS Branch, officials carried out raids by sending a dummy customer who made a payment to the actress. The accused actress charged 50-80K for one girl and sent three girls to the Royal Palm Hotel located inside Aarey Colony. "During the raids, we have also rescued three girls who were forced into prostitution," an officer further added.

It is pertinent to mention here that Bhojpuri actress Suman Yadav's arrest comes days after Bollywood actress cum Casting Director Aarti Mittal was arrested for running a sex racket. Mumbai Crime Branch mentioned, “Mumbai Crime Branch Unit 11, Dindoshi police busted a sex racket running in Goregaon area. Two models were rescued from the spot and a 30-year-old casting director, Aarti Mittal was arrested in this case.” Reportedly, the models rescued were sent to the rehab centre. They revealed that the actress has promised to pay them Rs 15000 each. A dummy customer was sent to the hotel by the police and this is how they busted the sex racket and arrested the actress.
