In a horrific development, former Miss Switzerland finalist Kristina Joksimovic was brutally murdered and her body parts were chopped by a jigsaw and later pureed in a blender. As per reports, Kristina Joksimovic was killed by her husband in February in Binningen, near Basel in Switzerland. Kristina Joksimovic's husband identified as Thomas in local media, admitted to having strangled his wife to death. Kristina Joksimovic's autopsy report suggests that after being strangulated her body was chopped up in the laundry room with a jigsaw, knife, and garden shears. Not only this, Kristina Joksimovic's body parts were "pureed" in a hand blender and dissolved in a chemical solution. Who was Kristina Joksimovic?

Kristina Joksimovic, 38, had Serbian roots and was a model turned catwalk coach. Kristina previously won the Miss Northwest Switzerland competition - and went on to be a finalist in the 2008 national competition. Kristina Joksimovic's Instagram account or Kristina Joksimovic's Insta account describes her "High Heels Expert. Motivator. Entrepreneur. Mom. Coaching." Kristina Joksimovic's Insta profile is filled with cat-walking posts.

Kristina Joksimovic's murder reason

Kristina Joksimovic's husband Thomas who is 41-year-old told the investigators that he killed his wife 'in panic' as she approached him with a knife - claiming it was an act of self-defence. However. forensics "contradicts his description of self-defence".

Cops said Thomas showed a "lack of empathy and cold-bloodedness after killing his wife" and had made efforts to cover up her death. The ongoing investigation also concluded there were "concrete indications of mental illness" behind the killing. Investigators found that Thomas, who owns a business, showed a "conspicuously high level of criminal energy" while he was being assessed including "sadistic-sociopathic traits". Thomas was arrested the day after victim's body was found. Initially, he claimed to have discovered her dead.
