Going by the viral Reddit post, it can be said that the cricketer has started dating a Spanish girl named Maria Arroyog. The user shared a picture of Shubman's alleged girlfriend from the stadium along with a screengrab of her follower's list on Instagram. Apparently, Maria is following Shubman on Instagram. Maria is reportedly a model and she recently attended Gujarat Titans match as well.
Interestingly, Maria Arroyog's photo also went viral on social media with fans comparing her appearance with Hollywood actress Ana de Armas. As a result, IPL 2024 Ana de Armas doppelganger photos went berserk on social media with fans started to wonder who is she in real life.
True Scoop News tried to verify the claims on Reddit and tried to dig into Maria Arroyog's Instagram profile. However, after the post went viral, Maria Arroyog switched her account to private. It is pertinent to mention here that neither Maria Arroyog nor Shubman Gill have confirmed their relationship. Also, Sara Tendulkar was last spotted watching Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings IPL 2024 match. Notably, Sara did not attend any of the matches captained by Shubman Gill.
Another Reddit user claimed that Shubman Gill and Sara Tendulkar's relationship or dating rumors were only a PR stunt. Interestingly, former Team India cricketer Suresh Raina in an interview with Lallantop confirmed that PR agency comes up with such bizarre ideas of dating a Bollywood actress just for the sake of marketing or image building. Raina further stated that he had denied the PR strategy of dating a Bollywood actress or model just to make his image. However, it is highly unlikely that Shubman and Sara dated each other for a PR stunt as Sara is the daughter of Sachin Tendulkar & Gill is Team India's top opener.
It is pertinent to mention here that Shubman Gill has neither confirmed his breakup with Sara Tendulkar nor his dating rumors with the Spanish model.
