A big news related to the country's largest stock broking platform Zerodha has come to light. The company's founder, 44-year-old Nithin Kamath, suffered a mild stroke, after which he had to be admitted to the hospital. The billionaire businessman himself revealed this by sharing a post on X platform in which he wrote, "Around 6 weeks ago, I had a mild stroke out of the blue."

 

Zerodha founder Nitin Kamath, who is very conscious about his fitness, is himself surprised by this and wrote, “I wondered why a person who's fit and takes care of himself could be affected.” However, he did not tell what was the reason for this mild stroke. But while sharing information about this on social media, he said that after this his face has drooped a bit. He further went on to say, “The doctor said you need to know when you need to shift the gears down a bit.”

 

Zerodha founder Nitin Kamath wrote in his post on X, “I've gone from having a big droop in the face and not being able to read or write to having a slight droop but being able to read and write more. From being absent-minded to more present-minded.” He further expresses his hope that he will be able to make 3 to 6 months for full recovery.

 

Nithin Kamath also shared possible reasons for the stroke, saying that his father's demise, poor sleep, tiredness, dehydration and overwork or any of these possible reasons could be responsible in his case. Followers were surprised to read this post about the young billionaire, who emphasizes on social media about the need to keep himself fit, and are praying for his speedy recovery.

 

Who is Nithin Kamath?

Nithin Kamath started the journey of becoming a billionaire from a monthly salary of Rs 8000. After leaving a call-center job, he started his own advisory firm in the year 2005. When the National Stock Exchange (NSE) launched the free trading platform, Nitin also started an online trading platform with his brother Nikhil Kamath. This was what is now India’s biggest stockbroker, Zerodha. It was started in the year 2010.
