Orry aka Orhan Awatramani often grabs the limelight due to his pictures with Bollywood starkids including Janhvi Kapoor, Aaryan Khan, Suhana Khan, Sara Ali Khan, and more. Orry is BFF of almost every Bollywood starkids and often grabs the limelight for attending VIP parties in Mumbai. Not only this, Orry shares inside pictures of Bollywood parties, and therefore, fans wonder who is Orhan Awatramani. In fact, Karan Johar asked the same question to Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Pandey in the Koffee with Karan Season 8 episode. But, neither Sara nor Ananya were able to answer it. As a result, the mystery around Orhan Awatramani amped up even more.
Now, Who is Orhan Awatramani or who is Orry has finally been revealed. Orry recently attended a podcast for a portal in which he opened up about his early life, his education and about his friends.
Who is Orhan Awatramani aka Orry?
On being asked about him, Orry said, "My parents are from Mumbai. I wasn't raised in Mumbai. Most people think I was born here and lived my whole life in Mumbai. But, I actually grew up in the Southern foothills of India. Kodaikanal to be exact. Growing up in Kodai was very cute, very American, and very humble."
On being asked where did he study, Orry said, "I have traveled all around the world. I have studied in Bombay, I have studied in Tamil Nadu, I have studied in Connecticut, I have studied in New York, I have studied in London and I think I may have even studied in Canada. But I consider myself as a graduate from the school of life."
Interestingly, Orry was not comfortable answering the questions directly. One being asked how old is he, Orry said, "I am not revealing it. You should never ask this question. It's so rude. I am a borderline GenZ." On being asked what it takes to be friends with Orry, he answered, "I spend my day commenting on people's Instagram photos. So, it's not that hard to be friends with me."
However, on digging deeper, True Scoop News found out that Orry was born on August 2, 1999 and he has completed his studies at New York's Columbia University alongside Sara Ali Khan. Orry's father and mother are reportedly Jorj Awatramani and Shahnaz Awatramani.
Orry also revealed that at one point in his life, he was waiting tables and was part of a “waiters’ group.”
'Chandigarh is the best place to party', says Orry
On being asked since he has visited many countries and parties in many of them, which one did like the most? Orry replied, "People will say Monocco, Morocco, New York, Greece, etc etc, but for me the best place was Chandigarh. Back in the day, when I used to bus tables at a group of our little waiters' group we visited there....."
On the sets of Koffee with Karan Season 8, the same question was asked from Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Pandey who graced the couch at the Koffee with Karan Season 8. However, Sara and Ananya were not able to answer what is Orhan Awatramani's profession. Karan Johar asked, “Who is Orry, the world wants to know?”
Sara replied to the same and said, "He is a man of many things, he is a really funny person.” Ananya Panday added, “I think he is going by -Loved but misunderstood. He is good with captions, so I keep asking him for captions. Not sure what he does. He works on himself.”
