A total of seven top gamers & YouTubers interacted with PM Modi and discussed the scope of E-sports and online gaming in India. Interestingly, PM Modi also tried his hands at some virtual reality (VR) games and mobile games. What caught everyone's attention was when a woman was also among the top gamers in India who met PM Modi. The lone woman gamer who met PM Modi is Payal Dhare. Who is Payal Dhare?

 

As per reports, Payal Dhare hails from the small city of Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh. Payal defied societal stereotypes from an early age to become a gamer. It all started when her cousin brothers introduced her to the world of video games. In the gaming world, Payal Dhare is famous by the name Payal Gaming. Also, her YouTube Channel's name is Payal Gaming. Payal has won multiple awards in gaming. On YouTube, Payal enjoys a massive fan following of 3.7 million subscribers. 

During her meeting with PM Modi, Payal Dhare stated that she did not feel that PM Modi is old. To this, PM Modi joked that he colours his hair white to look old. On Instagram, Payal Dhare is also famous. Payal Gaming Insta's following is 3.1 million. 

Apart from Payal, other gamers who met PM Modi were- Naman Mathur famous by the name of Mortal, Mithilesh Patankar, Anshu Bisht, Ganesh Gangadhar, and Tirth Mehta. 

PM Modi during his meeting with gamers, promised that he will work towards boosting the gaming industry in India and embracing the creativity of these creators. BJP IT Cell Chief Amit Malviya took to his X handle and informed that "They also discussed the new developments in the gaming industry and how the Modi government has recognised the creativity of gamers promoting the gaming industry in India. They also engaged on issues concerning Gambling vs Gaming, while discussing women participation in the gaming industry."
