IPS Gurpreet Singh Bhullar has also served as the Police Commissioner of Ludhiana before being promoted to the rank of IG. His longest tenure was as SSP of Mohali. He was the SSP of Mohali between 2009 – 2013 and from 2015 to August 2016.

Not only this, but his grandfather Gurdial Singh Bhullar was also an IPS officer and was posted in Jalandhar during his services.
