BJP MP & Bollywood veteran actor Ravi Kishan has been embroiled in a major controversy linked to his personal life. Ravi Kishan who is currently in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 campaign allegedly married a woman named Aparna Thakur living in Mumbai and kept his relationship secret. With the woman, Ravi Kishan allegedly shared a daughter named Shinnova. However, Ravi Kishan never accepted Shinnova as his daughter from his alleged second marriage. Now, to get her rights, Bollywood actress Shinnova has filed a civil suit against the Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan. Shinnova has reportedly a civil suit against her alleged father to recognise her as Kishan’s daughter and stop him from denying it. She’s also filed a petition in the Bombay High Court to cancel an FIR against Aparna Thakur (her mother) after she publicly declared Ravi Kishan as her father. Shinnova rose to fame for the character she played in Hiccups and hookups for Lionsgate Play. It means Shinnova is a 25-year-old Bollywood actress who claims that she is the daughter of Aparna Thakur and Ravi Kishan. Talking about her social media reach, Shinnova has 2505 followers on Instagram. Shinnova in her bio outlines that she lost her old profile of Instagram.
Shinnova has also shared a video on her Instagram in which she requested UP CM Yogi Adityanath to meet her and her mother. The 25-year-old actress said that she wants justice from Yogi Adityanath by showing him evidence she has against the Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan.
Notably, Ravi Kishan’s wife Preeti accused Aparna Thakur of demanding Rs 20 crore and making false allegations after her demands weren’t met. Preeti alleged that Aparna threatened to involve Ravi Kishan in a false rape case, claiming she has underworld connections. Aparna Thakur, married for 35 years to Rajesh Soni, has a daughter aged 27 and a son aged 25.
What did Aparna Thakur say about Ravi Kishan's second marriage?
Aparna Thakur in a press conference alleged that she and Ravi Kishan got married in 1996 in Mumbai. Aparna further stated that Ravi Kishan and she have a daughter named Shinnova. Interestingly, publically it is known that Ravi Kishan married Preeti Shukla in December 1993. It means if Aparna's claims turn out to be true then she will be the second wife of Ravi Kishan. Aparna stated that till last year, Ravi Kishan was in contact with them, however, he abruptly abandoned them and despite requesting him multiple times to accept his daughter, he kept on refusing it.
"I am tired of telling him to accept us. Just like his other daughters, she is also his daughter. He abandoned his daughter. I want to request UP CM Yogi Adityanath that Ravi Kishan either accept her daughter or adopt her. ..I don't have anything to do with the election. I want him to fight the election and even win it. But, it does not matter in this. It is about her life. For the past 1 year, he has not been in touch with us. Before that, he used to talk to us and used to promise us many things," said Aparna Thakur in the press conference.
