In the age of social media, content creators and influencers leave no stone unturned to share something unique and viral-worthy videos or posts. However, sometimes, influencers and content creators go too far and become a matter of law and order. A similar type of situation came to the fore when an Advocate took to his X handle and shared a video of an influencer named Simran Yadav in which she was seen dancing on the Lucknow Highway with a gun in her hand. Advocate Kalyanji Chaudhary on his X wrote, "(Translated version) Instagram star Simran Yadav of Lucknow is openly flouting the law and code of conduct by waving a pistol on the highway and making a video viral to show off her community's power in the society, but the officials are maintaining silence." He also tagged UP DGP and Lucknow Police to take action against her. However, the question arises who is Lucknow Influencer Simran Yadav? Below is what we know so far-
Who is Simran Yadav?
Simran Yadav is famous for the moniker 'Lucknow Queen'. Interestingly, the Lucknow influencer owns two Instagram handles and both have more than 2 million followers (while writing). In one of her accounts, Simran can be seen dancing on the road along with a boy. In another reel, Simran was seen dancing to the same song that had come under the scanner of the Police. However, in this video, Simran did not flaunt weapons. Notably, not much information is available about 'Lucknow Queen' Simran Yadav but she is now facing a potential inquiry by the Lucknow Police.
Reacting to Simran Yadav's viral video, UP Police directed the Lucknow Police to “kindly look into it.”
The Lucknow Police commented, saying, “The concerned have been directed to take necessary action.”

Another user wrote, "Start putting a hefty fine on these jokers. Money can be used to feed poor people."
For the unversed, Section 397 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) states that brandishing a weapon to threaten and create fear in the mind of a victim is in itself an offence. The offender doesn't need to actually fire or stab the weapon to be charged under this section.
