Who is Goldy Brar?

Satinder Singh best known as Goldy Brar is considered a special henchman of Lawrence Bishnoi. Last year, a court in Faridkot district had issued an open-ended non-bailable warrant against Brar in connection with the murder of Youth Congress leader Gurlal Singh Pehalwan. Pahalwal, 34, was gunned down by two unidentified miscreants.

Goldy Brar's name is also in a double murder case of two brothers named Paramjeet and Surjeet in Gurugram. In March this year, Delhi Police arrested two sharpshooters of Kala Jathedi, Lawrence Bishnoi, and Naresh Sethi’s gang.

On May 2, the Anti-Gangster Task Force of Punjab Police arrested Lawrence Bishnoi and three associates of Goldy Brar from Bathinda. They were planning to kill a businessman from the Malwa region for not paying extortion.

Who is Lawrence Bishnoi?

The Special Cell of Delhi Police had last year imposed the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act (MCOCA) on gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The police had filed a charge sheet in a case related to running the Interstate Syndicate. Lawrence Bishnoi, who was once a student leader, formed the first gang in the college. At least 25 serious cases are registered against him. The Bishnoi gang, spread over at least six states, includes more than 600 criminals.

In 2016, Bishnoi was accused of killing a Congress leader. He had claimed responsibility for the murder through Facebook. But Lawrence Bishnoi got recognition in 2018. Bishnoi as well as Sampat Nehra, against whom the charge sheet was filed by the Delhi Police, was nabbed from Bengaluru in June 2018.

Lawrence Bishnoi is planning to take a big leap in 2020. He planned to join hands with local gangsters of every state to form a crime syndicate at the national level. The aim was to control the underworld in North India. This is the reason why Bishnoi joined hands with gangsters Kala Jathedi and Naresh Sethi.

According to a source, they target Bollywood celebrities, Punjabi singers, and actors.

Bishnoi is purportedly in a relationship with international drug trafficker Amandeep Multani. Multani is linked with Mexican drug cartels. He was arrested by the US agency in April this year. Bishnoi's second international contact was Monty, who lived in the UK and had links with the Italian mafia.
