In what came as a shock for Oasis fans, English singer & songwriter Noel Gallagher was banned for at least 6 months from driving despite the fact that he never learned it. Noel Gallagher's driving ban comes against the backdrop that he failed to share information relating to the driver of his £80,000 black Range Rover Autobiography, not once but twice. It is not the first time Noel Gallagher has been involved in a legal trouble-in-driving-related incident. Before the ban, the 56-year-old singer was prosecuted when the chauffeur-driven motor was caught speeding in West London last October. Noel Gallagher's Range Rover was caught overspeeding on a speed camera. The Singer's posh car clocked by a speed camera doing 41mph on a 30mph stretch of the A40 near Edgware Road station.

As a result, Noel Gallagher was handed a £742 fine and six penalty points despite not owning a driving license. However, Noel Gallagher's driver Alan Neeson then wrote to Willesden Magistrates' Court, explaining he had been at the wheel at the time. The driver informed the court that he did not respond to Police letters because of last Christmas' postal strike. However, The Oasis singer confessed that e failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver. As a result, he was banned from driving for six months after 12 further penalty points were added to the existing six.

Apart from a 6-month ban, Noel was also handed a £1,340 for the offenses, costs of £110, and a victim surcharge of £536.
