It has been more than 10 years since the 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson died, however, his fans still remember him and shower their love whenever his birthday arrives. Similarly, on August 29, 2023, on the occasion of the 65th birthday of the late singer/performer Michael Jackson, fans around the world paid tribute to the King of Pop and remembered him for his multiple brilliant performances. However, fans also noticed that Michael Jackson's daughter Paris Jackson did not utter a single word on her social media profile on the King of Pop's birthday. This indeed infuriated fans around the world who slammed and trolled Michael's 25-year-old daughter Paris Jackson on social media. Some even cursed Paris Jackson to die wondering that she might have forgotten her late father's birthday. Notably, Paris Jackson was just 11 when Michael Jackson passed away and now she is 25-year-old well known model & singer. Now, Paris Jackson has finally spoken up why she did not post anything on her late father's birthday.

Why Paris Jackson did not celebrate Michael Jackson’s birthday?

Paris Jackson took to her Instagram stories and shared her video slamming the trolls and revealing the reason why she did not celebrate her later father's birthday. Addressing the social media trolls, Paris Jackson said, “So today’s my dad’s birthday, and back when he was alive, he used to hate anybody acknowledging his birthday, wishing him a happy birthday, celebrating it, nothing like that...He actually didn’t want us to even know when his birthday was because he didn’t want us to throw a party...If you don’t wish someone a happy birthday via social media, it apparently means that you don’t love them, you don’t care about them...There have been times where I don’t post anything for my dad’s birthday, and people lose their f****** minds. They tell me to kill myself...And they’re basically measuring my love for my own father based off of what I post on Instagram.”

For those who are unaware about the King of Pop's family tree, Michael Jackson had Prince and Paris Jackson with ex-wife Debbie Rowe, to whom he was married from November 1996 to April 2000. The singer said in the 2003 documentary ‘Living with Michael Jackson’ that Blanket was conceived via surrogate, though the woman’s identity was never revealed. Notably, Michael Jackson whose legacy has been an epicenter of a series of child abuse allegations – was also married to Lisa Marie Presley from May 1994 to August 1996 but the pair never had kids. After Michael divorced his first wife, Lisa Marie Presley, in 1996, he and Rowe went on to marry and have their first child together, Prince, the following year.
