Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on Tuesday scripted history by winning IPL 2025 at the Narendra Modi Stadium. RCB lifted their maiden IPL trophy after 18 years of waiting. Following RCB's victory in IPL 2025, star batter Virat Kohli broke down in tears. The winning moment was so emotional and special at the same time that Virat Kohli started crying like a baby. It was Anushka Sharma who hugged and consoled the cricketer. Notably, Virat Kohli also reacted to the cosmic bond, or let's say coincidence, that fans have been highlighting on social media.
For the unversed, Virat wears jersey number 18, and RCB won the title after 18 years since the inception of the tournament. Kohli also did not hold back and responded to it. Below is what he said-

My mom, my brother, and my coach have all seen the whole 18 years. Anushka has been coming to the game since 201,4 and she sees the heartbreak from 11 years, my emotional ups and downs. Very difficult to accept every time we kind of crashed out of the IPL. Without the support, with Anushka, keeping my perspective right, and my family supporting me, this could not have been possible. I am grateful for that and God for giving me this moment."
