West Bengal BJP president Dilip Ghosh on Tuesday declared that the party will eliminate Trinamool Congress from Bengal and bring change in the state. He also said that TMC is sacred of the progress BJP has brought in the state and the country.

On Monday, a clash between BJP and TMC workers resulted in pelting stones from both sides during a rally attended by Union Minister Debasree Chaudhuri, state BJP chief Dilip Ghosh and Suvendu Adhikari in Kolkata.

Dilip Ghosh, reacting to the incident said, "Violent politics will continue under TMC rule. They have tactics to stop BJP but it weakened with time. We will bring in a change in West Bengal. As development is inching closer, they are getting uneasy and doing this. We reduced TMC to half in 2019 and will wipe them out in 2021."

Ghosh also spoke about Suvendu Adhikari’s prophesy of CM Banerjee’s loss of the constituency which she would contest in the forthcoming West Bengal Assembly elections.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, on Tuesday, has announced that she will be contesting the upcoming Bengal polls from Nandigram and it is lucky for her. And in an open dare to BJP said she and her party will again win from the majority.

"Who knows Nandigram better than Suvendu? It is in his hands. If he has said it, he might do it as well," said Ghosh.

What has Suvendu Adhikari said about Mamata?

Newly associated with BJP, Suvendu Adhikari taking a gibe at Mamata Banerjee said that she has an emotional connection with Nandigram, but in reality, she visits her constituency only during elections and has done no real work for the people there. Mamata has forgotten the people of Nandigram who helped her gain power in the state, added Mr Adhikari.

"Whoever would contest against her, she would lose by 50,000 votes. If I fail to make her lose, I will leave politics," Suvendu Adhikari had said.

The Assembly elections in West Bengal are likely to be held in April-May this year and the BJP is leaving no stone unturned to pose a formidable challenge against the ruling TMC.
