As Punjab elections are around the corner, Navjot Singh Sidhu has geared up. Congress party kick-started their campaign from Amritsar. On Thursday, PPCC Navjot Singh accompanied Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his Punjab’s Fateh Rally.

Rahul Gandhi during his rally said that he will soon announce the CM face of Punjab. The two main names from the party are Navjot Singh Sidhu and Charanjit Singh Channi for Punjab’s CM face. When Rahul Gandhi came on stage during his rally, Sidhu asked him to announce the name as he is ready to accept the party’s decision. But, Rahul Gandhi didn’t make any such announcement.

According to sources, Suman Toor’s comment might have an impact on Sidhu’s CM seat. SAD MLA Bikram Majithia used Suman Toor’s statement against Sidhu. Bikram Majithia has filed nominations from Amritsar. Sidhu is also contesting from Amritsar. Bikram Majithia said in an interview, “Sidhu is not faithful to anyone. The one who can’t belong to his family, how can we expect that he will be faithful to his party and countrymen?”

There are chances that the opposition party might use Suman’s statement against Sidhu just like Majithia in order to spoil his image.

On Friday morning, Suman Toor, during a live interview made shocking revelations against Navjot Singh Sidhu. She said that she had gone to meet Navjot Sidhu at his Amritsar home but he did not open the gate. Even blocked them on WhatsApp.  In 1986, when his father Bhagwant Sidhu's died, Sidhu along with his mother threw them out of the house soon after. Their mother’s body remained unattended at Delhi’s railway station during her death. Sidhu did all this for the property.
