Punjab Government has lateslty issued a notice announcing winter breaks in all government, private as well as government aided schools. As per the letter issued Punjab government has decided to announce winter breaks from 25th December 2022 to 1 January 2022.
On Tuesday also amidst the winter fog, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann also took the decision of changing the school timings. The CM announced that commencing from 21st December 2022 to 21st January 2023, the school opening timings will be changed to 10 am. The leaving time will remain the same.
Sharing a Twitter post on Tuesday CM Bhagwant Mann wrote, “Due to the dense fog falling in the state, in view of the health and safety of school students and teachers, from tomorrow 21-12-2022 to 21-01-2023, the opening time of all government, aided, recognized and private schools will be at 10 am. The leave will be as per the earlier time.”
