Woman gets stung multiple times on leg by a scorpion on United Airlines flight

The woman was flying from San Francisco to Atlanta on Thursday morning when she felt a stinging sensation on her leg. After which she went to the restroom to take a look at her leg and then the pain intensified

According to a report by TMZ, a woman flying on a United Airlines flight was stung multiple times by a scorpion on her leg.

The woman was flying from San Francisco to Atlanta on Thursday morning when she felt a stinging sensation on her leg. After which she went to the restroom to take a look at her leg and then the pain intensified.

And that was when a live scorpion dropped out of her pants. Reportedly, the scorpion, which was very much alive, then scurried across the floor and was later captured by the flight attendants.

But it was only when the plane landed that the woman met paramedics, who then looked after the multiple stings that she had sustained. TMZ also reported that after the incident the airlines also published a statement stating that their crew immediately helped the passenger and even provided her with medical assistance.

The airline representative said, "After learning that one of our customers on flight 1554 from San Francisco to Atlanta was stung during flight, our crew responded immediately and consulted with a MedLink physician on the ground who provided medical guidance. Upon landing in Atlanta, the flight was met by medical personnel and the customer was transported to a local hospital. We have been in contact with our customer to ensure her wellbeing."

Reportedly the woman is going to be fine.
