In an absolute shocker, mother-in-law was stabbed to death by her own daughter-in-law in Amritsar city of Punjab. Although the murder took place on 25th February 2023 but accused got arrested on Tuesday. Police carried out a proper investigation regarding the matter after they got suspicious of the reason given by family members for the death of the deceased.
Reportedly, on 25th February 2022 deceased named Amarjeet Kaur was found dead at her home. Family members told police that she died due to electrocution but police got suspicious as there were several injury marks on deceased’s body. Post carrying out a proper investigation, it was disclosed that the deceased’s daughter-in-law herself killed her due to frustration and anger. The police revealed that at first accused attacked her mother-in-law with a weapon on her head and then stabbed her multiple times. The deceased in order to save herself mistakenly held iron’s wire and got electrocuted.
Accused Narinderjeet Kaur revealed that her mother-in-law used to continuously taunt her based on her looks and appearance. She further revealed that the ancestral home of their family was to be divided and she doubted that deceased might give more share to her brother-in-law so she decided to kill her mother-in-law.
