The Aam Aadmi Party made certain promises before winning elections in Punjab. They are likely to fulfill the free 300 units of electricity promise from July onwards. They also announced that women of Punjab will get Rs. 1000 per month. Cabinet Minister, Dr. Baljit Kaur said that this promise will also get fulfilled very soon.
Punjab's Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Social Security, Women and Child Development Dr. Baljit Kaur said that we will fulfill the promise in 1-2 months. Women will get Rs.1000 per month soon.
The AAP will soon implement this for the upliftment of women in Punjab.
AAP will also amend the Women Protection Act and more stringent provisions would be added to protect the rights of women. The minister shared this information during the 'Save Daughter, Educate Daughter' event in Fatehgarh Sahib.
