The search against Amritpal Singh has entered the 7th day but still he is far away from the police’s grasp. In between of all this, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann went live for the second time since the operation against Amritpal Singh started. CM Mann spoke about Punjab’s peace and harmony. He also stated that government will not allow Punjab to become like Afghanistan.

Although he did not straightaway speak about Amritpal Singh’s crackdown, but there were some indirect statements regarding the same. CM Mann stated that he will not allow Punjab to become like Afghanistan. This might mean that he will not allow anyone to takeover the state and disturb its harmony. CM Mann likely pointed that people like Amritpal Singh who were thinking of turning Punjab into Khalistan and take hold of it will not be allowed to do so.

While addressing the people of Punjab CM Mann stated that the state has played a very important role in leading India. He stated that saving Punjab from all those trying to disturb its harmony is his responsibility. CM Mann added that he along with his government will help each and every youth of Punjab to grow and become successful.

CM Mann went live after Khanna police on Friday revealed the anti-national materials retrieved from Amritpal Singh’s gunman’s phone. The anti-national materials consisted of videos of youth practicing firing in the range allegedly constructed in Jallupur Kheda village. Adding to this Khalistan currency notes with pictures of Jarnail Singh Bhindrawala have also surfaced. WhatsApp chats in certain groups called Anandpur Khalsa Force and Amritpal Tiger Force. Also, there are some pictures that show, Amritpal Singh and his supporters also had plans to launch a separate flag of Khalistan. Tejinder Singh Gill’s phone also has pictures of Amritpal Singh’s followers using dangerous weapons like AKF 3, AKF 56, AKF 47.
