Would Ensure Effective Implementation of Pro-people and Development Oriented Policies of Captain Government, Says Manoj Arora

Newly Appointed Chairman of District Planning Board Assumes Charge in Presence of Mp, Mayor and Other Leaders

Newly appointed Chairman of District Planning Board and senior Congress leader Mr Manoj Arora today assumed the charge of his office in presence of Lok Sabha MP Chaudhary Santokh Singh, MLAs Suahil Rinku, Rajinder Beri, Chairman Punjab Technical Education Board Mr Mohinder Singh Kay Pee, Chairman Punjab Water Resources Management Corporation Mr Jagbir Singh Brar and others. 

Speaking on the occasion, the newly appointed Chairman of District Planning Board said that effective implementation of the pro-people and development oriented policies of the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh will be his top priority. He said that the services of this esteem office will be duly used for ensuring the benefits of these schemes to the weaker and underprivileged sections of society. Profusely thanking the Congress high command especially the Chief Minister for hand picking him for this august post, Mr Arora said that this has filled him with more humility to serve the people with utmost zeal and sincerity.

Speaking on the occasion Lok Sabha MP Chaudhary Santokh Singh, MLA Sushil Rinku, Rajinder Beri, Mayor Municipal Corporation Jalandhar Mr Jagdish Raj Raja, Chairman Punjab Technical Education Board Mr Mohinder Singh Kay Pee, Chairman Punjab Water Resources Management Corporation Mr Jagbir Singh Brar and others also thanked the Punjab government for bestowing this great responsibility on Mr Arora. They said that Mr Arora has a vast experience as leader of youth Congress and then Congress party besides being a Municipal Councillor for a long stint. They expressed hope that with his large administrative and political experience Mr Arora will be helpful in providing succour to the needy people and acting as a bridge between district administration and people for their day to day administrative works.
