'Would want him to contest from 'toughest seat', says Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath on Digvijaya Singh

Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath on Saturday expressed his wish that his party leader Digvijaya Singh must contest the Lok Sabha elections and said that if he decides to do so, he should go for the 'toughest seat' in Madhya Pradesh. Quoting 3-4 seats which Congress has been unable to secure in last 30-35 years, the Madhya Pradesh CM didn't specifically talk about a single seat from where Digvijaya SIngh should contest.

"I have requested Digvijaya Singh that if he wants to contest Lok Sabha polls, then he should do so from the toughest seat. There are 2-3-4 seats from where we have not won elections since the last 30-35 years," Mr Nath was quoted as saying by the news sources.

As per the information recieved by the sources, Digvijaya Singh is expected to contest from Bhopal or Indore seats in which BJP has a considerably strong hold.

However, the Madhya Pradesh CM said that it was totally upto Mr Singh to take a decision from where he wants to fight the elections.
