Yamuna Vihar residents form human chain to protect school girls and escort them safely

Till now, 17 have died while over 200 people have been injured in the clashes across different parts of northeast Delhi, such as Chand Bagh, Bhajanpura, Gokulpuri, Maujpur and Jaffrabad.

Amidst burning northeast Delhi, residents of Yamuna Vihar formed a human chain around schoolchildren to ensure their safety. Yamuna Vihar is barely 20 km north of Hyderabad House, the site of Modi-Trump joint statement. 

Till now, 17 have died while over 200 people have been injured in the clashes across different parts of northeast Delhi, such as Chand Bagh, Bhajanpura, Gokulpuri, Maujpur and Jaffrabad. Several localities like Chand Bagh, Bhajanpura, Gokulpuri, Maujpur, Kardampuri and Jaffrabad saw pitched battles between the members of two groups who also hurled petrol bombs and opened fire.

However, Northeast Delhi's Seelampur area on Wednesday woke up to normal sunrise after witnessing days of violent clashes and horror.
