Amid reports that Vishal Agarwal's minor son was served with burgers & pizzas during his custody, the Pune Police Commissioner announced that two cops have been suspended in the case. The Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar did not say anything about burger or pizza report, he announced that two Yerwada Police officials have been suspended. Yerwada Police officials' suspension took place in the Kalyani Nagar Accident Case that took place on Sunday. On Sunday, a speeding Porsche car rammed a bike from behind killing two techies including a woman in Pune's Kalyani Nagar. Pune Police arrested a minor who was the son of a Pune-based builder named Vishal Agarwal. In a matter of 15 hours, the minor was released on bail by the Juvenile Justice Board. After the uproar, the JJB send Vishal Agarwal's son back to the observatory center. 

On Yerwada cops' suspension, Pune CP Amitesh Kumar was quoted saying, "Police Inspector (PI) Rahul Jagdale and Assistant Police Inspector (API), Vishwanath Todkari, posted at Yerwada police station, have been suspended as they did not inform the wireless control room about the accident."

Earlier, Pune CP Amitesh Kumar had pointed out that there have been lapses from the Police side. As per reports, Amitesh Kumar pointed out that there was a delay in collecting the blood samples of the juvenile who had allegedly consumed alcohol at two pubs before the accident. While the accident took place around 3 am on Sunday, the blood samples were collected at 11 pm, the commissioner said. Not only this, but the offense was also initially registered under section 304 (A) (death caused by negligence ) of IPC and later section 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) was added. 

Kalyani Nagar Accident Case Update

Coming back to the Kalyani Nagar accident case update, the 17-year-old boy, who was involved in the Pune crash, has claimed that his family driver was behind the wheel when the accident happened. The minor’s two friends, who were with him at the time of the accident, have backed his claims. The family driver in his first statement had claimed that he was driving the Porsche when the accident happened. Vishal Agarwal has also claimed that it was the driver employed by him who was driving the Porsche.
