While the Russia-Ukraine war has indeed divided the world into two halves with the US and its allies supporting Ukraine & providing aid to it, President Vladimir Putin on the other hand does not seem to stop the war anytime soon. On Wednesday, the entire world was shocked after it was reported that Russian mercenary Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin died while traveling through a private jet that crashed, killing 10 other people onboard. At first, Yevgeny Prigozhin's death was only presumed, however, the Russian Aviation Authorities then confirmed that the Wagner Boss was on board the crashed jet which killed everyone after the unfortunate accident. However, US President Joe Biden was quoted saying that's death did not come as a shock to him. Biden was hinting at the fact that it was Wagner Chief Yevgeny Prigozhin who was responsible for a failed mutiny and had started a coup against Russian President Vladimir Putin. However, after Belarus' intervention, a compromise between Yevgeny Prigozhin and Vladimir Putin took place with Russia lifting all the charges against the Wagner Boss including sedition. Putin is known for not forgetting and forgiving 'betrayal' was silent on every development. Now, Yevgeny Prigozhin's jet crash video, or Wagner Boss Plane Crash video is doing rounds on social media, and netizens are shell-shocked with the development.

As per Russian media reports, Yevgeny Prigozhin's jet, an Embraer-135 (EBM-135BJ), was flying from Moscow to St Petersburg on Wednesday with seven passengers and three crew. Apart from Wagner Chief, Senior Wagner commander Dmitry Utkin - who founded the group in 2014 - was also on board. The plane is reported to have come down near the village of Kuzhenkino, about halfway between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Another report suggests that the body of Yevgeny Prigozhin, 62, had been found and identified - however, has not been officially confirmed. In fact, all 10 bodies have been recovered, Russia's state-run news agency reported.

Apart from Wagner Boss and Utkin, the other four passengers have been identified as: Sergey Propustin, Evgeniy Makaryan, Aleksandr Totmin, Valeriy Chekalov, Nikolay Matuseev and Prigozhin. Furthermore, the crew have been identified as Commander Aleksei Levshin, co-pilot Rustam Karimov and flight attendant Kristina Raspopova.

It is pertinent to mention here that the jet in which the Wagner Boss was traveling showed no sign of problem until a precipitous drop in its final 30 seconds. This particular fact is a major hint that there might be something fishy in Yevgeny Prigozhin's accident. As per Brazilian media reports, the Embraer executive jet model that crashed has only ever recorded one accident in over 20 years of service, and that was due to mistakes by the crew rather than mechanical failure. Interestingly, Embraer declined to comment on Wednesday as per reported by multiple portals saying only that “Embraer has complied with international sanctions imposed on Russia.” Sanctions block western planemakers from providing parts or support for planes operated in Russia. As of now, Russia’s Investigative Committee has opened up an investigation into the crash on charges of air safety rule violation.

Another user wrote, "There are no traces of an anti-aircraft missile impact on the wreckage of the tail section of Yevgeny Prigozhin's aircraft, which broke away from the fuselage. All pages who rushed to claim that the plane was shot down are lying: as of now there is no evidence to support it."

One more user wrote, "In a surprise to no one, a plane carrying the mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, who led a failed coup attempt against Putin, crashed in Russia killing all aboard. Apparently the Kremlin is “investigating.”"
