"If you are a woman you will face abuse": Zoya Akhtar's cryptic message after Rhea Chakraborty mobbed by media outside the NCB office

Zoya Akhtar has penned down a strong message against the abuse a female has to go through.

Actress Rhea Chakraborty was mobbed by the media as she tried making her way into the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) office on Sunday, despite being escorted by police personnel. Several celebrities have called out the media behavior, terming it as barbaric.

Now, Zoya Akhtar has penned down a strong message against the abuse a female has to go through. Zoya recently slammed the media trial going on against Rhea Chakraborty in Sushant Singh Rajput's case. 

Zoya in her strong message wrote, "No matter what the situation is. No matter which direction you lean towards. If you are a woman you will face abuse. I long for a sisterhood that stand for it- No matter what the world thinks you did."

Many Bollywood stars slammed the behaviour of media with Rhea Chakraborty outside the NCB Office. "Media vultures. The press is behaving barbaric. Is there no one in authority that can stop this," Shibani Dandekar expressed her concern on Instagram Story.

Actress Gauahar Khan is disgusted. "I haven't seen the worst of the criminals being treated like this even after being convicted! Let there be a trial!!! Absolutely disgusted with the way the media is treating her! #shame," she tweeted.
