Recently, she hasshared a report published on the Forbes website about how the Coronavirus pandemichas impacted the gender gaps across the globe. Navya has expressed her thoughtson the issue.

The star kid wenton to express that attaining gender equality is now a distant dream because thepandemic has hit men and women in a very different way. She said that thepandemic lockdown has affected the Indian working women in a very disappointingmanner as the people were frustrated with the slow loss in businesses. Sharing thelink for the report she writes, “this pandemic has disproportionately impactedwomen. Especially working women! Especially Indian women. Making gender equalitya very very distant dream”.
ThatForbes report claims that now it would take probably 135.6 years to close thegender gap worldwide. It also highlights that the number has gone up from 99.5years from last year’s report. Navya has engaged herself in empowering women throughoutthe nation through her project ‘Project Naveli’.
