Assembly Election Results 2022 LIVE: BJP takes lead with 250 seats in UP; 43 in Uttarakhand & 21 in Goa

The counting has started in UP for 403 seats along with 40 seats in Goa and 60 seats in Manipur. Goa went to the polls in a single phase on February 14

The counting has started in UP for 403 seats along with 40 seats in Goa and 60 seats in Manipur. Goa went to the polls in a single phase on February 14, while Manipur went to the polls in two phases on February 28 and March 5. 

A total of 265 candidates were in the fray in both the phases in Manipur, while 301 candidates were in the fray for 40 seats in Goa. 

According to the trends of the opening hour, the Congress is very close in Goa, while the BJP is leading in Manipur. Whereas BJP takes a huge lead in UP with 250 seats and shows that BJP once again will rule the UP chart.

CM Yogi Adityanath leads the Chart

UP's CM Yogi Adityanath takes a huge lead in the 2nd round of counting and BJP is also moving their chart up to 260 votes in UP from 403 seats. Whereas BSP takes 100 votes lead.

BJP close to a majority in Goa-Manipur trends

The picture seems to be changing in the trends that emerged in the second hour of counting votes.  In Goa, where BJP is leading on 21 seats, in Manipur, the party is leading in 30 seats. The BJP is close to a majority in both states.

 BJP lead in Goa

 BJP seems to be getting an edge in Goa. Here BJP is leading in 18 seats. On the other hand, Congress seems to be getting an edge in 11 seats.

BJP ahead in 23 seats in Manipur
The initial trends for 50 seats in Manipur have been revealed. In this, BJP is leading in 23 seats.  Congress is leading in eight seats.

An interesting contest is being seen in the initial trends of Goa. Here CM Pramod Sawant is behind in Sanquelim's seat. The Congress candidate is leading by 400 votes from him.

Equal match in Manipur

In Manipur, BJP is leading on 10 seats and Congress is leading in only 10 seats.  Here NPF is ahead in two seats, NPP in seven seats.  So independent candidates are leading in two seats.

The picture changed again in Goa
 In Goa, once again a tough fight is being seen between the BJP and the Congress. Here the initial trends of all the 40 seats have started coming out. While BJP is leading in 17 seats, Congress is leading in 18 seats. TMC alliance is leading on four and others on one.
