Saare Jahan Se Accha will have its prime focus on how RAW agents outwitted Pakistan's secret service ISI in the 1970s when Pakistan was trying to make its own nuclear weapon.
During the 1970s, it was evident that Pakistan was making its nuclear bomb not for its safety but to destroy and threaten India. Hence, India's secret service RAW was trying to derail Pakistan's nuclear program.
Saare Jahan Se Accha features Pratik Gandhi as RAW agent Vishnu Shankar who is tasked to thwart Pakistan's nuclear program, Sunny Hinduja plays Murtaza Mallik, an ISI agent, Rajat Kapoor plays Vishnu’s superior, and actress Tillotama Shome plays Vishnu’s new bride.
Amaran was released on Netflix on December 5, 2024. Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, Amaran is inspired by the true story of Major Mukund Varadarajan who was martyred in the line of duty during an anti-terror operation in Kashmir's Shopian area in 2014.
