Border 2, released in the theaters on January 23, was one of the most awaited films of the year so far. The movie directed by Anurag Singh is based on a true story of 1971 India-Pakistan war and has been labeled as India’s biggest war drama. Border 2 left a lasting impact on the audience with a multi-starrer cast featuring stars like Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Sonam Bajwa, Varun Dhawn, Medha Rana and more in the key roles.
Now after its magical performance on the silver screen, Border 2 is all set to woe the audiences on the OTT platform as well. As per reports Border 2 is scheduled to be released on one of the world’s leading streaming platform, Netflix on March 20. This comes as a big bonanza for the ones who like to watch movies from the comfort of their homes.
Following its release on January 23, the movie has entered week three and as per reports this war drama has racked up a collection of around Rs 316 crore, however a slight dip in the ticket sales has also been observed now as the days progress.
With this, now after the announcement of the OTT release date of the film, it would be interesting to see how this would stir the pot and what whether this would cause any changes in the numbers.
