Entrepreneur from Jalandhar appears on Shark Tank India 5, business clocks Rs 51.5 cr annual revenue

In the latest episode of Shark Tank India Season 5 that aired on January 19, 2026, Co-Founders Pawanjot Kaur, Astha Jain, and Tanishk Pandey sought Rs 1 crore investment from sharks at a whopping Rs 200 crore valuation.

Pawanjot Kaur, Astha Jain, and Tanishk Pandey brought their two brands at Shark Tank India for investment of Rs 1 crore at 0.5% equity. They are Co-Founders of brands- Ayuvya and iamfresh. Ayuvya is an Ayurvedic health supplements brand, while imfresh is a whole body deodorant cream brand.

Tanishk Pandey is from Dibiyapur, Uttar Pradesh, Astha Jain is from Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, and Pawanjot Kaur is from Jalandhar , Punjab

Astha and Pawanjot were room-mates as well as classmates during their college days in Chandigarh. Both of them studied at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.

Story of Ayuvya Co-Founders and Pawanjot Kaur from Jalandhar

Astha Jain, "My mother is an Anganwadi worker. My father died when I was only 4-year-old. There was always a dream that make and run our own business in family. So, that zeal came into me. I did my Engineering in Metallurgy and Materials Science from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.. There I luckily met Pawanjot. Pawanjot was my batchmate as well as room-mate."

Pawanjot Kaur who hails from Jalandhar then explained, "Then we tried small-small things in College. After college we started an agency- performance marketing agency in which we used to work for other brands. There our creative and branding angle were totally missing, so we were looking for someone. So, we met Tanishk through our mutual friend."

Tanishk, "I have done my schooling from Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. Then me and my family shifted to Bhiwadi, Rajasthan."

Astha Jain, "I fell in love with Tanishk when I met him. I proposed to him and then in 2023 we got married."

"Our customers gave the idea that you should start selling weight gain products. Our 75 percent revenue comes from weight gain products. We earned Rs 35 crore last year just by weight gain. Our 80% percent sale comes from Tier 3 and Tier 4 areas."

"In 2022 end, we got an idea that why don't we enter the fragrance category in a cream format. imfresh was launched un 2024. We wanted to launch the products under AAYUSH Scheme. But, later it was found that this was not possible."

"Last year, imfresh contributed Rs 2 crore in revenue. It means under, it had under 5% of revenue. This year we are expected to close imfresh's revenue at Rs 18 crore."

Prabhjot, "People who want to gain weight have two major problems- poor digestion- poor appetite, and nourishment."

In the company, Prabhjot owns 50 percent. Asthan owns 40 percent and Tanishk owns 10 percent.

The Co-Founders then revealed their numbers in which they said that in FY 22-23 they did Rs 8 crore revenue on Rs 3 lakh loss, in FY 23-24, they did Rs 26.8 crore revenue on Rs 75 lakh EBITA, and FY 24-25, they did Rs 51,5 crore revenue on Rs 72 lakh EBITA.

However, the entrepreneurs could not secure a shark deal at Shark Tank 5. Sharks advised the founders to get the highest rated certification as they are selling medical products. Furthermore, they were advised to get clinical trial of their products.
