The festive season is ready and so are the OTT platforms. For all the binge watchers there are several shows and movies releasing, that promise drama and thrill in equal measure. Whether you're into edge-of-your-seat suspense or character-driven drama, this week offers something worth adding to your watchlist.

1. Bhagwat Chapter 1: Raakshas

One of the most talked-about Indian releases this week, Bhagwat Chapter One: Raakshas is a crime thriller that plunges into the mysterious disappearance of young women. The show follows Officer Bhagwat’s probe, which leads him to suspect a benign high school teacher. The thrill features, Arshad Warsi as Inspector Vishwas Bhagwat a determined police officer tasked with solving a case of missing girls.

2. Elsbeth Season 3

In this season, the witty attorney Elsbeth Tascioni returns. She is known for blending courtroom drama with unexpected wit, the show draws interest from fans of legal mysteries and character-driven narratives. The series was co-created and is executive produced by Robert and Michelle King along with executive producers Liz Glotzer and Jonathan Tolins, who also serves as showrunner.

The cast includes Carrie Preston, Wendell Pierce and Carra Patterson. Guest stars for Season 3 include Annaleigh Ashford, Stephen Colbert, David Cross, William Jackson Harper, Amy Sedaris and Sarah Steele.

Netflix's political drama is back with it's season three and all new episodes. Russell as Kate, Rufus Sewell as Kate’s ambassador husband Hal Wyler, Allison Janney as U.S. Vice President Grace Penn, David Gyasi as British Foreign Secretary Austin Dennison, Ali Ahn as London CIA Chief Eidra Park, Rory Kinnear as Prime Minister Nicol Trowbridge, and Ato Essandoh as Deputy Chief of Mission Stuart Hayford will be returning.

The series revolves around a career diplomat who copes her new high-profile job as ambassador to the United Kingdom and her turbulent marriage to a political star.

5. I Know what you did last summer

The thriller is set to premiere on Netflix on October 18. The cast features Chase Sui Wonders, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, Jonah Hauer-King, Lola Tung, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Austin Nichols, Joshua Orpin and Gabbriette.

Writer-director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson's helmed the film which revolved around a group of friends who cover up a murder and agree to keep it a secret among themselves.
