Firing at Disha Patani's Bareilly house has shocked the film-industry as well as raised a big question on the law and order of Uttar Pradesh. During the early hours of Friday, firing took place outside actress Disha Patani’s Bareilly home. Fortunately, no one was injured.
The reason behind firing at Disha Patani's home is said to be her sister Khusboo Patani's remarks on spiritual gurus Premanand Ji Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Maharaj.
As per reports, the responsibility for the attack has been claimed by the Rohit Goldy Brar group.
In the meantime, Khusboo Patani's Instagram comment section has been flooded by the name of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar. Check below-
A user wrote, "Lawrence Bhai has said something, what do you have to say about it?"
A post written in Hindi had two individuals, named Virendra Charan and Mahendra Saran, taking responsibility for the incident.
The message read, “Jai Shri Ram Ram Ram to all brothers. I, Virendra Charan, Mahendra Saran (Delana). Brothers, today the firing that took place at Khushboo Patani/Disha Patani’s (Bollywood actress) house (Villa No. 40, Civil Lines, Bareilly, UP), was done by us. She insulted our revered saints (Premanand Ji Maharaj and Aniruddhacharya Ji Maharaj). She tried to demean our Sanatan Dharma."
"The insult of our deities will not be tolerated. This was just a trailer. Next time, if she or anyone else shows disrespect towards our religion, then no one in their house will be left alive. This message is not just for her, but also for all the artists of the film industry and those associated with them. Whoever in the future commits such an insulting act against our religion and saints should be ready to face the consequences. We are ready to go to any extent to protect our religion. We will never back down. For us, our religion and society are one, and protecting them is our first duty.”
Superintendent of Police, Anurag Arya said, "At around 3:30 a.m. last night, information was received today regarding an incident of firing carried out by two unidentified assailants on a motorcycle at the residence of Retired CO Jagdish... SP City, along with SOG and surveillance teams, was immediately dispatched to the spot. After confirmation of the incident, an FIR under serious sections is being registered at Kotwali police station on the basis of a complaint..."
Disha's younger sister, Khushboo, had earlier expressed criticism of spiritual leader Aniruddhacharya's remarks regarding women in live-in relationships, which is suspected to have resulted in the attack. However, Khushboo clarified later that her remarks were not about Premanand Maharaj.
Khushboo Patani, retired Indian Army Major and sister of actress Disha Patani, on August 3 released a video statement warning of defamation suit against a few Instagram pages. Khushboo Patani is embroiled in a controversy after she slammed Aniruddhacharya Ji over his viral remark on 25-year-old girls who are in live-in relationships.
Aniruddhacharya Ji has come under the scanner of social media after he made a controversial remark on girls in a live-in relationship and used the term 'Muh Marne Wali'.
Khushboo Patani in her video had said, "A few days back, Aniruddhacharya used derogatory words for 25-year-old women, that should not be of a person who is a Dharma Guru. I said some words to oppose those words. After that, I was trolled and the video went viral out of context. But, that's ok, whatever I said, I said. But, after a few hours, my video was linked to Premanand Ji Maharaj. It was claimed that I used those words against Premanand Ji Maharaj."
"I made my video for Aniruddhacharya not Premanand Ji Maharaj. As a result, I had to endure negativity, online abuses, online trolling. I did not even say any word for Premanand Ji Maharaj. This was like running a fake news agenda against me."
"My image was maligned unnecessary so that we don's focus on the actual news. All limits were crossed when Premanand Ji Maharaj got death threat on Facebook. Then again, my video that I said on Aniruddhacharya was used in this that Premanand Ji Maharaj got death threat because I said those words."
