The character of Ishika in Saiyaara is played by actress Rhea Gupta. For the unversed, Rhea Gupta is the younger sister of Jalandhar-based model Rachel Gupta.
Rhea Gupta recently took to her Instagram handle and shared a series of posts with a caption that reads, "Proud to have a small part in making history. Working with incredible people on an incredible film. Thank you @mohitsuri @yrf for your faith in me. Everything about this was magical."
Commenting on her post, Rachel Gupta wrote, "Rhea we’re all so proud of you and so excited for your next project!!"

Mahesh Iyer played by actor Shaan R. Grover is a toxic ex-fiancé of Vaani played by Aneet. Seeing Ishika's financial riches, Mahesh gets married to her.
Rachel Gupta who hails from Jalandhar had won the title of Miss Grand International in 2024. However, she returned her title after blaming the Miss Grand International Organisation for mental harassment and body shaming.
Rachel also aspires to be a Bollywood actress. During a press conference in Jalandhar, Rachel had said that she will be seen in both Bollywood and politics. She will give her best to everything as she does not believe in setting limits for herself.
