The grand premier of Bigg Boss 19 aired on Sunday night (August 23) with Salman Khan officially introducing all the 16 contestants with the fans. In those list of 16 contestants, one raised eyebrows of even 'host' Salman Khan and it was none other Bollywood music director and singer Amaal Mallik.
After the grand premier performance of Amaal Mallik, Salman Khan asked, "When Bigg Boss informed me about your name, I thought you will not go inside."
Amaal asked, "Why?"
Salman said, "Because your songs and shows are going well."

Amaal said, "Thanks to you (Salman Khan). My songs are working because of the blessings. But, you gave me my first break in 2015. Today, after 10 years, I am going to try something new. Yet, again, it's with you. I think you are lucky for me as always."
Salman then says, "Let me tell you that this guy is so talented, that his music, songs, voice, sense of melody, he is brilliant. Sometimes he looses the track. It is his problem and hence, I am scared for him."
"You have always treated me with love but not over protective. You said you have to fight your own battles . You have also told me that I want you to have your own different identity. Don't remain like this forever, said Amaal Malik.
Amaal then said, "This clicked me. I got misunderstood. I think I got success too early.. I went crazy. At the age of 24, I got success. I think now at this age I have calmed down. So, I thought why not by this show, those who have given me so much love in the past 10 years, they loved my music, they know my music, now I want they know the person behind the music and know the real Amaal Malik."
