5 Punjabi youngsters return to India amid the Middle East crisis

Khalsa aid helps 5 young men to return from Lebanon to India during the America-Iran war with cooperation of the Indian embassy in Beirut

With the continuous effort of Khalsa Aid, an organization known selfless services to humanity,5 youths from Punjab have safely returned to India after being stranded in Lebanon during the Iran-US war. The head of Khalsa aid Sardar Ravi Singh met these youths at the Gurdwara where the relief work was already in process.

While having the conversation, the youths gave information about the difficulties they were facing in returning to their homeland, listening to which Khalsa aid took the matter in their hands. Giving information at the press conference, Khalsa aid trustee Jaspreet Singh Dahiya said as soon as he was informed by Ravi Singh, he immediately contacted former Foreign Secretary of the Government of India and current governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu who helped coordinate with the Indian Embassy in Beirut. Only with their cooperation and support the return was possible. The youth who returned include Karam Singh(Patiala), Dalbir Singh (Jalandhar), Harjinder Kumar (Jalandhar), Jaspreet Singh (Patiala),and Bichrit Singh (Hoshiarpur)

After the return of the youngsters, they shared their experiences, that how it was mentally stressing and frustrating in the tense situation and their hope of returning was continuously diminishing. The family and the adults deeply thanked the Khalsa Aid for making the return safe and possible.

 Jaspreet Dahiya added that the mission of Khalsa aid is not solely to deleiver relief materials but also to provide security, respect and new hope to people in distress. Khalsa Aid is today serving humanity without discrimination in more than 50 countries of the world and will continue to do so to reach every corner of the world in future with same dedication and spirit of service.
