Deputy Commissioner Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal and Commissioner of Police Dhanpreet Kaur, along with officials of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), conducted a joint inspection of the highways today.

The DC and CP thoroughly assessed traffic issues arising from incessant rains and examined the structural stability of highway bridges.

The officials emphasized the need to ensure smooth traffic movement and public safety during the ongoing monsoon spell.

The Deputy Commissioner assured that necessary measures will be taken promptly to address concerns and maintain road safety for commuters.

Meanwhile, Commissioner of Police directed the traffic police to ensure smooth traffic flow within the city amid heavy rains. She also inspected deployment of Police personnel at various intersections and asked to maintain uninterrupted traffic movement.
