Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab State General Secretary and Media In-charge Baltej Singh Pannu released a video on social media slamming the Congress MP and former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for allegedly promoting ‘chita’ (drugs) through a video. In his video Pannu questions Channi’s intent behind sharing such a video. He says that the previous governments that ruled before AAP be it Akali-BJP or Congress, were unable curb the drug menace of the state. He affirms that the Punjab government is currently fighting the war against drug addiction by indulging the entire population of Punjab along with it.
Pannu says that the Congress MP is giving the address and claiming that this is the place were drugs are being sold. Pannu further alleges that this means that Channi is trying to torpedo the campaign and giving away address to the public claiming that drugs are sold there. He expresses surprise and disbelief and says he did not expect such a petty move by a MP.
Earlier, former Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi released a video in which he had claimed that even today the smugglers are delivering drugs anywhere that to within five to ten minutes.
